Bath and NE Somerset Conservatives have published their manifesto for the May 4th local election for BANES Council, promising to transform the way the Council is run and how it deals with residents.
The 30-page Manifesto - carrying the title "Your Council. Your Choice" - includes 5 key pledges:
- a council that will listen to and serve its residents
- making it easier and quicker for all to move around
- a thriving UNESO world heritage city that's beautiful, welcoming and rich in culture
- encouraging nature across our city, towns and countryside
paying for top quality services by attracting and supporting businesses and visitors.
The manifesto also contains a 100-point plan covering topics including traffic and transport, business, culture and tourism. the environment, the quality of public services, heritage, and council finances.
